Departures/Arrivals June 2018

With the Mission home being renovated, President and I took our departing elders to dinner at one of our favorite Mexican restaurants.  It's difficult for us to imagine the mission without them.  They are trained and very effective in all they do.  They have become their best selves as they have worked hard to become more like Christ.   We have come to know them and depend on them.  However, we are happy to know they are returning to their families who have made the sacrifice of two years away from their sons.  We have loved them and know the Lord is pleased with their efforts.  We know God will bless them for their service<3

Most of you know that President and I will be returning home in 2 1/2 weeks after our three year mission.  Our hearts are full of love and charity for all the missionaries and the people of Denmark.  We also feel much gratitude for this incredible experience.  It's hard to imagine that we have been gone for three years but our families are growing bigger and are waiting for our return.  We have received four new grandchildren and will return home to the arrival of two more...thirty-one will greet us at the airport.  We will embrace this next chapter in our lives.
