30 day in

Last week, the 4 missionaries, who have arrived the latest in Denmark, and their trainers came to the mission home to receive more training and to share their first experiences as missionaries with each other. And of course to have a traditional Danish Christmas dinner, flæskesteg ;)

The sun was trying to keep up with the smiles of these outstanding servants of the Lord. Thursday night, they had the first testimony meeting in the "new" mission home. All attenting was touch by the presence of the Spirit.

The last day was spent in the temple. What a powerful group of young missionaries.

Meeting the hard-workers in Iceland!

President and Sister Olsen had the privilege to meet these fantastic Icelandic missionaries last weekend.

They loved getting to know each missionary and feeling the incredible spirit they bring into the missionary work. The zone conference was an uplifting experience.

The Mission President and his wife had the time of there life on Iceland that weekend, and are looking forward to working with the great Elders and Senior Couples in Iceland in the near future!

Meeting the fighters in Sydjylland!

Today the president and his wife got to meet all the missionaries in the Sydjylland zone, where they once again got to know the missionaries a little better and told the missionaries about themselves as well.

They ate sandwiches with the missionaries for lunch and took a group photo.

It was so great talking to every single missionary and get to know their strong and hardworking personalities. President and Sister Olsen are very excited to work with them!

Mission president couple transfer!

Yesterday we said goodbye to President and Sister O'Bryant. We are very grateful for their kindness to us and their great service in the Danish Mission. We have asked our ,daughter to post updates and pictures on this blog, she is the new editor. We will briefly introduce ourselves:

We are native Danes and are so excited to be able to serve in the Denmark Copenhagen Mission, a mission we owe everything. We have four children and the two youngest, Christian and Mikala, are living with us in the mission home. We are so excited to serve alongside all of the missionaries in Denmark and Iceland. Some of them we already know and love, and some of them we are excited to get to know and work with for the next three years. We will do everything in our power to support and serve the missionaries.

The next few days we will meet all of the missionaries in person, which we are looking forward to, and we will do our best to keep you updated with pictures on this blog.
