Departure Dinners for Elder Birch and President and Sister O'Bryant June 29, 2018

Departure dinner for Elder Birch.  He has been a dedicated Elder and has worked hard each day of his mission.  He has been one of our assistants and we have depended on him much.

A few days later:
The senior couples planned a delicious departure dinner...

Our wonderful senior couples in Sjaelland had a delicious departure dinner for us.  The assistants and office elders were also invited.  Thank you so much Elders and Sisters Koch, Johnson and Wheeler.  We have loved working with you and know the Denmark Copenhagen Mission is in loving and capable hands.

...And a few days later:

We love you Elder Birch!  God bless<3

Sjaelland Zone Conference-June 2018

In Sjaelland, The missionaries arrive early and help decorate for Zone Conference.  It's a fun way to meet and greet and I love their creativity.  We look forward to reuniting every six weeks.  President and I see and train missionaries more often but it's always wonderful to be together.  Zone Conference was on the Four Cornerstones for progressing investigators, Final hopes for our missionaries, and the Atonement-Mercy vs. Justice.

Our office senior missionaries take very good care of the missionaries.  They are loved by all.

Look where we found the extra cookies...<3

This was probably my favorite training by President...finding balance in the atonement by accepting the law of Justice but developing equal faith in the Lord's Grace and Mercy.  It's a beautiful message<3

Our final message to the missionaries while supporting each other.

They surprised us with a video of our experience in Denmark with many pictures of missionaries and even of our family and grandchildren.  We almost kept it together...but not completely.  We feel total Love and Gratitude.

Each missionary in Denmark signed this Danish flag for us to take to America.  What a gift!

Delicious carrot and chocolate cakes made and decorated by Sister Johnson.  We seriously need to go on a diet...next week!

We have loved out time in Denmark with the beautiful green land and blue skies.  The members are faithful, kind and helpful in every way.  However our greatest joy has been to serve the Lord along-side these wonderful missionaries.  They arrive with enthusiasm and ready to change.  They have become master teachers, expert listeners, and strive each day to follow the Lord's example.  They are bold, but not overbearing, and bring the message of the Plan of Salvation to those who will listen.  Their efforts bring many into the waters of baptism.  They are truly instruments in the hands of the Lord.  The Lord is leading His work in Denmark.  We will be forever grateful for this life-changing opportunity.  We love the Denmark Copenhagen Mission.
