Aarhus Zone Conference-June 2018

As we arrive in Aarhus, we are always greeted with missionaries with huge smiles.  We all look forward to reuniting every six weeks.  President and I actually see and train missionaries in-between, but it's always wonderful to be together.  Zone Conference was on The four cornerstones for progressing investigators, Final hopes for our missionaries, and the Atonement- Mercy vs. Justice.

Boxes of Book of Mormons for each apartment

First time I wasn't allowed to enter the lunch area  beforehand but I sent my camera down with elders to take pictures...always decorated so creatively...

Yes, this is actually one of the mission bikes.
The two elders on the right are cousins from Australia.  We love their accent!

Our faithful and dedicated senior Missionaries

Departure testimony of Elder Birch.  We will miss him.  He has served faithfully with great charity and dedication.
Do all missions have a professional event planner?  We are blessed with the best!

Traditional "Big" cookies for the break...

Sharing a picture of our other family...Goodbyes are never easy.  So we just invite everyone to visit us.  We have built a pizza oven to feed missionaries, and have a deep freeze waiting to fill with pizza crusts.  We committed them all to visit after their missions...even the two cousins from Australia.
We asked the missionaries what they were doing on September 16th, the day President and I received our calling and began to prepare...LOL
This may be my favorite training President has ever given...finding balance in the Atonement by accepting the law of Justice but developing equal faith in the Lord's Grace and Mercy.  It was a beautiful message<3

Our final message while holding each other up...

We just love our mission!  (Every mission needs an Elder Blocker...)
A wonderful gift and a place for all our missionaries to sign.

A wonderful gift...

A priceless gift with a picture and testimony of each missionary in the mission<3
We didn't expect a performance but they were prepared with a wonderful program.  Sister Esplin and Sister Matheson coordinated and wrote new words to  a beautiful drumming campfire song.  It was an impressive performance!  (Drumming pictures below)

Elder Ellis sang "Never Be the Same".  He truly has a gift of a beautiful voice.  Sister Matheson accompanied him beautifully.
Elders Owen and Saviano and Sisters Uluave and Matheson sang "God Be With You".  Elder Owen sang the first verse as a solo.  The hymn was beautiful.  Sister Warren accompanied beautifully on the piano.
We have loved our time in Denmark with the beautiful green land and blue skies.  The members are faithful, kind and helpful in every way.  However our greatest joy has come by serving the Lord along-side these wonderful missionaries.  They arrive with enthusiasm and ready to change.  They have become master teachers, expert listeners and strive each day to follow the Lord's example.  They are bold, but not overbearing, and bring the message of the Plan of Salvation to those who will listen.  Their efforts bring many into the waters of baptism.  They are truly instruments in the hands of the Lord.  The Lord is leading His work in Denmark.  We will be forever grateful for this life changing opportunity.  We love the Denmark Copenhagen Mission.
