Departures and arrivals of Sister Dietch and Senior Missionaries

Mission President's Seminar in Budapest, Hungary.  Truly an amazing place with so much beauty.  Our Area Presidency presented wonderful training  and the spirit was strong.  We were inspired and rejuvenated.

Elder and Sister Buxton were present for the arrival of Elder and Sister Jensen while President and Sister O'Bryant were at the Mission President's Seminar in Budapest.
Sister Dietch has arrived!  She was in the MTC as the only Danish missionary with Finnish companions.  She's a star and we are grateful to have her.
Meeting her companion...
...as well as other sisters living in her apartment...

She is in good hands:-)

Arrival of our Danish couple, Elder and Sister Ravn. They will serve as Member Leadership Support missionaries in Fredrikshavn after training in the MTC in the UK.
Arrival of Elder and Sister Jensen prepared to serve as Records Preservation Missionaries.

Departure of Elder and Sister Ottley.  They were faithful Records Preservation Missionaries who took their work very seriously.  We will miss them and all they did to serve in the Denmark Copenhagen Mission. We had a lovely evening of dinner, testimonies and singing.  Serving the Lord together with one heart and one purpose is a wonderful way to build lifetime friends.  We love you missionaries.  God bless you<3

  1. What exactly do Records Preservation Missionaries do?

  2. The Record Preservation Missionaries are taking digital photos of public records which will be indexed by volunteers. Once indexed, anyone can search those records online for family history purposes. Without the photos and indexing, the only way you would be able to find the record of an ancestor, would be to go into the archives in the country and search the books themselves. The archives are incredibly large, dusty and overflowing. The Ottleys finished their 2-year mission having photographed over 1 million pages.

  3. Thank you for sharing this wonderful blog with beautiful photos. We send our love to Sister Dietch. We are serving at the Provo MTC in Branch 13, with missionaries that go to Scandinavia. It is just a delight to be able to see these arrival photos, and mission news. Thank you!
