August 2017 Departures

Well, it's that time again.  Every 6 weeks, we have departing missionaries who have been hard-working disciples.  We have loved watching them become their best-selves as they have become great teachers and strong testifiers of Christ and the Plan of Salvation.  They have learned to love the people in Denmark and more importantly, their Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ.  We have become better people ourselves as we have served together.  We began with a dinner of sweet bacon-wrapped chicken, summer strawberry salad, baked potatoes, rolls and Oreo cheesecake.
Next we had a final departing fireside with testimonies and pictures.  But some had already changed, so we finished pictures in the AM:)  Sister Landeen
Baked french toast for breakfast.

Example of how some of our missionaries age....:-)  It looks great on you Elder:-)

Busy airport with long lines.

President and I are smiling.  We are happy to release these missionaries to the care of their families...but it's not easy!  We have loved them from the moment they arrived.  We have learned that "Charity" is a true gift.  We love you missionaries.  God bless you<3

Elder Allred looks like he's leaving for his flight but.....
His family came to pick him up after the airport<3
