Departures Nov. 2017

Have I mentioned that I have never been good at saying good-bye?  Missions can change us for the better when we submit.  That is what we strive daily to do.  Charity and love came easy on our mission so I will just say, "we are grateful for the memories we have had with each of these missionaries.  Therefore we can't help but feel sorrow when they depart".  They have blessed our lives and we have watched each of them "become" more Christ-like.  We encourage them to continue on the same path of "becoming".

Departure dinner

Our faithful assistants take on the job of washing dishes while we have our departure fireside...
The fireside begins with advice and bearing of testimonies.

Breakfast comes early.

Elder Kennedy left at 3AM to the airport.  Our assistants took him and returned for the next trip with these missionaries.  Yes, they work hard!  Thank you<3

Emotions are high...for all of us.

The assistants take these final pictures while President and I give encouraging words and handshakes or hugs (as appropriate).

Lots of love in this picture.  We and Denmark will miss you. Tak for alt.  Kom Godt Hjem<3
