Arrivals March 2017

Just when our departures have left and our hearts are a little heavy, we receive more missionaries who are enthusiastic, ready to serve and willing to work.  Truly the Lord provides Denmark with excellent missionaries.  We are continually amazed at the quality servants we receive.  Is there any better place to be than serving along-side these missionaries?

Their first training is at the airport by our assistants.  In this mission, we teach repentance and, YES...we baptize converts.
On the way to Copenhagen in the mission van.

A typical Danish lunch of rye bread, and a variety of toppings.  Of course we supplement it with danish pastry:)

When they arrive at the mission home, they have a homemade traditional Danish meal of flaeskesteg, frikadeller, red cabbage, white and brown potatoes and sauce.  They love this meal.
Dessert is a homemade traditional layer cake.

After a short meeting of get-to-know-you and testimonies, we keep them awake by playing ping pong.  These elders were quite talented!

After a well-deserved good nights sleep, we awake early for breakfast burritos and baked french toast.

This day is very exciting for all involved.  Training, meeting companions and...well... pictures.

Here are the anxious trainers...
Training by Elder and Sister Buxton.
Finally meeting their trainers.
These two were especially excited...
