Iceland Zone Conference-March 2017

Ready for zone conference to begin.  We just love going to Iceland.  These elders are a close-knit group.  They are hard-working and brave some harsh weather.   ( One elder forgot his suit coat and is hiding behind books)
White handbook training...
Our newly called zone leader training on the language.
Departing testimony from Oldungur Stewart.  We will absolutely miss this dedicated missionary!
Our break with delicious homemade muffins.

Our assistants trained on "more effective baptismal invitations".

President training on the "Plan of Salvation".

Chicken parmesan, spaghetti carbonara, salad and garlic bread for lunch.
These sisters work hard for these missionaries.

Sunday morning began with clouds...

President and I drove to Selfoss where we spoke in sacrament meeting.  The views on the drive were spectacular, even though I only took pictures from my window.  I would have stopped every 15 minutes to get out if we had the time:)
Waterfalls after the melting snow.

The moss growing over the volcanic rock was bright green and beautifully encircled by brilliant white snow.

This picture was taken at 9P Sunday night.  So beautiful!

Home again to a clear spring day as the sun sets.  We love the Denmark and Iceland<3
