"Around the world" is a single elimination game. We all love it! But seriously...how did these missionaries get so competitive at ping pong? It's like it's a requirement to be a missionary...
A spiritual thought and prayer before bedtime...
Oh...and a bedtime snack...
Breakfast comes early and Breakfast Burritos is a tradition.
After sacred scripture study, we're ready to begin the council meeting. This meeting is wonderful to experience. These missionaries receive revelation for the Mission. They're impressive and inspired.
Lunch consists of honey mustard bacon chicken, grilled potatoes, salad, rolls and peach cobbler with ice cream. It's fun to cook for missionaries. They love eating and appreciate all we do for them.
President and I feel it has been a privilege to live in a large enough home to bring our missionaries in for overnight trainings. We have come to really know our missionaries. All receive the opportunity to come and enjoy training, homemade meals and a little relax time through ping pong or basketball. However, in just a few weeks, the mission home will be refurbished. We need to move into an apartment for the last few months before the next Mission President arrives. The home will be a better fit for these missionaries since they will also add a big bathroom downstairs. Therefore we realize that these last few visits are much appreciated. We love the missionaries in Denmark and Iceland and have gained so many life long relationships. We have been so blessed!
